It may sound super hi-tec, but bioethanol is essentially a type of alcohol that is produced by a sugar fermentation process applied to a variety of agricultural products. The process uses waste from glucose based crops including maize, wheat and potatoes to produce a fuel that burns with a lovely real flame. There are no fossil fuels used in bioethanol fuel.

Bioethanol fires do not require that your home has a flue or chimney, so there are no expensive building works required. There are also no cables or leads to hide, so you have a fire that actually looks wonderful in any room you choose. When bioethanol burns only a small amount of water vapor and carbon dioxide is produced, helping bioethanol fireplaces to not produce any soot, dust or ash. It should be noted that it is strongly recommend that you use only high quality bioethanol fuels that have at least 96.6% alcohol.

The bioethanol that goes into our bioethanol fires is a clear liquid, and once lit it quickly grows to a beautiful natural flame. The flame looks and feels completely authentic. There is no residue and no lingering aromas.

Bioethanol fireplaces are powered only by bioethanol fuel. There is no need for the fireplace to be connected to any additional power source such as gas or electric so there are no connections or plugs, so they are very portable. As long as you have some biofuel and a bioethanol fireplace, you have all you need to use and love the bioethanol experience.

Not only are there no fossil fuels used in bioethanol, but it is created from natural renewable resources. When it is lit, it burns with no harmful emissions to damage the environment. This is a particularly prevalent point when people are trying to lower their environmental impact on the planet.

Whilst actual assembly and installation times vary according to the specific model, many of bioethanol fires require absolutely no installation at all and just a few minutes assembly. Of course if you are going to choose a bioethanol fire that can be fitted to a wall, then it will take a little longer but no more than about an hour.

Bioethanol fireplace are safe, and as long as you treat your bioethanol fireplace as you would any other source of fire, then these fires are of course completely safe. There is also no carbon monoxide used in the burning process, as they use clean burning fuels.
